Constructing 5 inch Gauge Wagons

In May 2017 the HMRS will be publishing this major book by Doug Hewson. At 320 pages with over 900 prototype, model and construction photographs, 35 detailed A2 and A3 drawings specifically produced for modellers, and many diagrams in the text, it will be an essential read not just for those modelling in the large scales but anyone who wishes to make accurate models of wagons. To enable the Society to gauge demand and keep costs down, advance subscriptions are being invited. If you subscribe before 31 March 2017 you will be able to purchase the book for just £30 plus p&p and save £20 compared with the post publication price, and you can have your name listed in the book as a subscriber. When the new HMRS website is launched, you will be able to subscribe on-line. In the meantime, if you would like to subscribe please contact our Treasurer at treasurer@hmrs.org.uk, providing him with full contact details. He will then provide you with information to enable you to pay by your chosen method.
